Il est appelé <b>Singe bleu</b>, <b>Singe argenté</b>, ou encore Singe de <a href="Franz_Stuhlmann" title="Franz Stuhlmann">Stuhlmann</a>, ou <a href="Cercopith%C3%A8que_%C3%A0_diad%C3%A8me" class="mw-disambig" title="Cercopithèque à diadème">Cercopithèque à diadème</a>, bien que ce nom soit aussi donné à l'espèce <i>Cercopithecus albogularis</i>.
